Position: Modern Foreign Languages Teacher

Start Date: September 2024

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Kingston Upon Thames, Greater London

Pay: £195-£245 per day (DOE)

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive language lessons that cater to the needs and interests of students.
  • Foster a passion for language learning and cultural appreciation through authentic experiences and activities.
  • Teach a range of languages, including but not limited to French, Spanish, German, or Mandarin.
  • Support students in developing their language proficiency, communication skills, and cultural awareness.
  • Utilize technology and multimedia resources to enhance language instruction and facilitate meaningful learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and promote language learning beyond the classroom.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialization in Modern Foreign Languages or relevant subject area.
  • Proven experience teaching languages at the secondary level.
  • Fluent proficiency in at least one foreign language, with proficiency in additional languages considered advantageous.
  • Enthusiasm for promoting cultural understanding and global citizenship.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
