Are you an accomplished and dedicated English educator ready to take the next step in your career? We are actively recruiting a passionate English Teacher to join one of our schools in Somerset.

Protocol Education are working with a school in Somerset to appoint an exceptional English Teacher to teach their year 7s and year 8s. The school are looking for someone to join their team 3 days a week to cover MAT leave starting after the Easter Break.

The staff at the school are passionate about the school and are relentlessly focused on improving the achievement and opportunities for all the students. All staff that work at the school will need to subscribe to their ethos and values and seek to improve and develop their own practice and performance for the benefit of our students. You will be working as part of a team who are passionate about providing the very best experience for our students.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Strong subject knowledge in English and the ability to teach at various levels.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
- Passion for fostering students' curiosity and understanding in English
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingly to pay for a Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their progress.
-Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall English education experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
