Mental Health Support Worker

83-95 per day

Fulltime: Monday-Friday (6.5 hour days)

If you have a passion for supporting mental health this is the role for you! There is students within secondary schools across the newcatsle area who require support with their mental health.

This is an entry level role; it may be beneficial if you have personal or professional experience supporting someone with their mental wellbeing however all we ask is you have a passion for supporting student wellbeing.

The role:

  • Supporting KS 3-4 students with their personal and academic development
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND or SEMH
  • Implementing individualised progress plans.
  • Forming positive relationships with the students you support
  • Supporting the teacher in the classroom

The Requirements:

  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Has positive communication skills
  • Is passionate about supporting students during their time in school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
