Position Overview:
We are looking for an empathetic, approachable, and friendly individual with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND to join our team. This role offers short-term opportunities with potential for long-term placement due to the high demand for SEND support in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for students with SEND and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs
  • Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Manage behaviour and serve as a positive role model for students
  • Assist in student development, both personally and educationally

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience working in SEMH or SEND schools
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Clinical Background, Health and Social Care)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Passionate about promoting mental health and supporting students with SEND
  • Thorough understanding of SEND and SEMH in a school setting

Teaching experience is desired but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
