Position Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and approachable individual with a genuine passion for supporting students with SEND. This role offers short-term opportunities initially, with potential for long-term placement due to the high demand for SEND support in schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for SEND and SEMH students
  • Collaborate with students, teachers, and parents
  • Manage behaviour and act as a positive role model
  • Assist in student development, both personal and educational

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience working in SEMH or SEND schools
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Clinical Background, Health and Social Care)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Passionate advocate for mental health
  • Thorough understanding of SEND and SEMH

Teaching experience is desired but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
