Protocol Education are recruiting a Maths Teacher to work in a positive and supportive special school in Brentwood. Pupils that attend are aged 8-19 with speech, language and communication needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated, pupil-centred and forward-thinking staff team and Trust Applications are welcome from primary, secondary, special school and mainstream colleagues. Prior experience of working with children who have special educational needs desirable but not essential as full training is available.

 

The role will include:

  • Delivering accreditation from Entry level to GCSE 
  • Responsibility for a form group
  • Engagement with parents and carers including Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) review meetings
  • Primarily Teaching Maths. Teaching other subjects dependant on areas of strength

Pay:

£31,350 - £47,839 £2539 (SEN1) £3,214 (TLR2)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
