Job Duties:
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons to students
- Assess and evaluate student progress
- Provide constructive feedback to students
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Maths at the secondary level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Maths curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience using technology in the classroom
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Normal working hours are full-time, Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
