Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging maths lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Utilise different teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Mathematics or related field
  • Experience teaching maths at secondary school level

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a secondary school setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
