Pay: £130 - £160 per day (subject to change, in line with AWR)

Job Duties:

The Maths Lecturer - Interim will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in mathematics to students at the college level. Duties include preparing and delivering GCSE Maths lessons, assessing student progress, providing feedback, and supporting students with their academic development. 

Required Qualifications:

- A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field

- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)

- Experience in teaching mathematics at the college level

- Experience in FE would be an advantage

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field

Experience:

Previous experience in teaching mathematics at the college level is required

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and teaching methods

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to engage and motivate students

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Mathematics or Education

- Experience in online teaching or using educational technology

Working Conditions:

The Maths Lecturer - Interim will work in a college setting, delivering lessons to students. The role may involve some flexibility in working hours to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
