The Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis, starting in September. The successful candidate will:

  • Support the Maths department by assisting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Work with individual students and small groups to provide additional support with mathematical concepts, problem-solving, and exam preparation.
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel confident and supported in their mathematical abilities.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and classroom activities.
  • Assist with the assessment and feedback process, providing constructive support to students to enhance their understanding and progress.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject from a reputable university.
  • A passion for Mathematics and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts across different levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting teaching and learning activities.
  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
