Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Mathematics to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement engaging teaching strategies to promote student learning
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field

Education:

Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)

Experience:

Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students in learning
  • Organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate qualification in Education

Working Conditions:

The role will involve working in a school environment, following the school calendar and timetable. Some additional hours may be required for planning and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
