Male PE Teacher

A confident, proactive and experienced Male PE Teacher is needed for a Secondary School in the Stockton-on-Tees area. If you are ready to take on the rewarding role of inspiring students on their educational journey as a Secondary Teacher, we want to hear from you!

Position: Male PE Teacher

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Start Date: 02/09/24

Key Responsibilities as a Secondary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and lessons for secondary students (ages 11-16)
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' work, ensuring their continuous growth and development.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities, such as clubs, and competitions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and promote interdisciplinary learning.

Requirements:

  • Valid teaching certification for secondary education UK (PGCE or QTS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in history or related field (master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience teaching at the secondary level (preferred).
  • Local to the Teesside area (driver is preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Hold an Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
