Job Overview: We are seeking flexible and dedicated Supply Teachers to join on a temporary basis.

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of education and a positive learning experience for students when regular teachers are absent.

This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your teaching skills, gain valuable experience across different age groups and subjects, and contribute to the growth and development of students in a variety of educational settings.

⛵ Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons and follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement.
  • Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate varying student needs and learning styles.
  • Support students with their academic and social-emotional development.
  • Administer and supervise assignments and assessments as required.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure continuity of curriculum and student progress.
  • Communicate with regular classroom teachers, providing updates on student performance and behavior.
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including attendance and reporting requirements.
  • Foster a positive and respectful learning environment that encourages students' curiosity and growth.

⛵ Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Teaching certification is preferred).
  • Experience working as a Supply Teacher or in a similar capacity is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of various subjects and ability to teach across different grade levels.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in diverse educational environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with students and effectively manage classroom dynamics.
  • Organizational skills to handle lesson plans, materials, and assessments effectively.
  • Patience, resilience, and a passion for supporting students' learning and well-being.
  • Valid teaching certification or eligibility to work as a Supply Teacher.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
