Job Title: Learning Support Mentor

Salary:

£88 - £95 per day.

Job Duties:

  • Provide academic and emotional support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Assist in the implementation of individual learning plans.
  • Offer guidance and encouragement to help students achieve their educational goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • A relevant qualification in Education, Special Educational Needs (SEN), or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual student needs.
  • Maths & English GCSE (C)

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support them.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
