Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Protocol Education are looking for a SEN LSA that has experience within a SEN provision or a children’s residential care home. Experience with profound and complex needs is vital to the job role. The role will take place within a mainstream school with a SEND child.

Position: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

Start Date: ASAP!

Pay: £85-110 daily rate

The Role includes:

  • Working 5 days a week within the school, supporting students with complex Autism as well as profound needs.
  • Learning and developing your LSA skills.
  • Working closely with parents to ensure what is carried out at school is continued at home.
  • A friendly and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to work full time 5 days a week 8:30am - 4:00pm
  • Have experience of complex special needs either from working in a children’s residential home or a SEN Provision
  • Must be resilient.
  • Be able to hit the ground running and know what support is required for the children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
