Position: KS1 Primary Teacher

Location: Grimsby, Lincolnshire

Start Date: ASAP!

Pay: £120-160 daily rate (Depending on Experience and Qualification)

Key Responsibilities as a KS1 Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and prepare creative and engaging lessons that coincide with the KS1 UK National Curriculum.
  • Adapt lessons to suit the needs of the class.
  • Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a positive manner.
  • Building healthy relationships with students, parents, and other members of staff.
  • Provide day to day support and guidance to pupils to enhance their life and social skills.

Requirements:

  • MUST hold a Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience within a KS1 primary teaching setting in the UK.
  • Must be local to the Teesside area (driver is preferred).
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Committed to and supportive of positive behaviour management strategies.
  • Confident, compassionate, and committed to supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
