Job Title: Key Stage 1 Class Teacher

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Class Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students aged 5 to 7 years old. They will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide a supportive and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Assess students’ abilities and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver cross-curricular initiatives and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding students’ progress and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, with a thorough understanding of the national curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
