Qualifications:

QTS (or equivalent)

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Education or relevant field

Education:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 students is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working in a multicultural school environment

Working Conditions:

This role involves working in a school setting, following school hours and term dates. The teacher may need to attend meetings and events outside regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
