We work closely with a network of schools in Leeds to provide reliable and skilled supply teachers to cover short-term absences, planned teacher absence, or additional support needs. As we expand our team, we are seeking dedicated and adaptable Key Stage 2 Primary Supply Teachers to join us on a flexible basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for Key Stage 2 students across various schools and settings.
  • Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the regular classroom teacher, adjusting as necessary to meet the needs of the students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Support students' academic progress and personal development by providing feedback, encouragement, and additional support where needed.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with school staff, including providing feedback on daily activities and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, preferably within a primary school environment.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work effectively with different school policies and procedures.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build rapport with students quickly.
  • Flexibility and availability to accept assignments on short notice.
  • Reliable and professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to different schools within the designated area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
