The Role: As a Key Stage 1 Class Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our pupils. You will inspire and motivate young learners, fostering their curiosity and love for learning. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative teaching strategies that meet the diverse needs of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop schemes of work, resources, and assessment materials.
  • Establish effective communication with parents and carers, providing regular updates on pupil progress and well-being.
  • Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 pupils is desirable but not essential for NQTs.
  • A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their holistic development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
  • A reflective practitioner with a willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
