Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging ICT lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to promote active learning
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the ICT curriculum

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Degree in ICT or a related field
  • Experience teaching ICT at secondary school level

Education:

Minimum of a degree in ICT or a related field

Experience:

Prior experience teaching ICT at secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ICT curriculum and educational technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Effective classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience using virtual learning environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
