Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a ICT Teacher to work at a SEN (Special Educational Needs) Secondary School in Sale, Greater Manchester (United Kingdom).

This position is Full-time and to start from the 8th of April 2024 until the end of Summer 2024, with the view to go permanent. 

In this highly rewarding role, you will be teaching vulnerable children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, such as Anxiety/Depression/complex learning disabilities, or being identified as having a statement of an educational need or an Educational, health and care plan (EHCP). The impact of COVID-19 on young children's mental health has significantly increased, resulting in a higher demand for support across schools in the UK to help with catch-up.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • PGCE in ICT with Qualified Teaching certification (QTS)
  • Profound knowledge of the ICT curriculum
  • Ability to create innovative and captivating lesson plans
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and motivating students
  • Flexibility and adaptability to cater to diverse learning styles
