SEMH Home Tutor

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for somebody who is experienced in SEMH to home tutor students who struggle to get in to school. 

The students that you will be working with will have either ASC/Social, Emotional, Mental Health needs (SEMH)/complex learning disabilities or being identified as having a statement of an educational need or an Educational, health and care plan (EHCP). The school’s pride themselves, as being part of a supportive Multi academy trust. They aim to support every child in order that they can develop their self-esteem, achieve appropriate and challenging personal targets and develop an enthusiasm for learning so that they can make the most of opportunities presented to them. All staff work to inspire, motivate, challenge and support each pupil, no matter what their individual needs may be. The age range is from year 3 to year 11.

The ideal person will be professional and passionate about SEND/SEMH and supporting children with additional needs and being fully able to adapt themselves to meet each individual needs, including excellent behaviour management.

- Has a full clean uk driving license

- Is knowledgeable of core subejcts such as English, Maths, sceince and life skills.

- Utilises a variety of communication methods to present engaging, thoughtful lessons and CPD sessions

Information to consider:

This role does involve driving aorund to students homes and delivering sessions in the home. Due to this you must have business insurance or be willing to get business insurance. All Millage can be reimbursed.
