Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum according to educational guidelines
  • Assess students' progress and provide feedback
  • Monitor and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in History or related field

Education:

Bachelor's degree in History or related field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching history at the secondary school level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of history curriculum and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with exam board specifications

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
