Job Title: History Teacher

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging history curricula aligned with educational standards, fostering students' historical literacy and critical thinking skills.
  • Deliver dynamic and interactive history lessons, utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment where students are encouraged to actively participate in historical inquiry, discussions, and projects.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their historical analysis, writing, and research skills, while also assessing their comprehension through various assessment methods.
  • Promote cultural awareness and sensitivity by incorporating diverse perspectives and narratives into history education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in history education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification/license
  • Experience teaching History at KS3-KS5
  • Strong knowledge of the History
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Is a patient and approachable individual.

  • Has a passionate for student development.
  • Ideally experience in a school setting( Not mandatory)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
