Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join our team in Cambridge, East of England. As a History Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality history lessons to students, fostering their interest in historical events and developing their critical thinking skills. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary range of £140 - £160 per day.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging history lessons to students
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Create a stimulating learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues on educational projects

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in History or related field
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Relevant teaching experience
  • Passion for history and education
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with exam preparation and assessment
  • Knowledge of educational technology

Working Conditions:

The role of History Teacher involves working full-time hours in a school setting. You will be expected to adhere to the school's policies and procedures and maintain a positive learning environment for students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
