As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant at Protocol Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers in the classroom and providing additional educational support to students. Your main responsibilities will include:

Job Duties:

  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery
  • Working with small groups of students to provide targeted support
  • Assessing and recording student progress
  • Supervising students during lessons and break times
  • Supporting students with special educational needs

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school setting is desirable. You must have a minimum HLTA qualification or higher.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Good understanding of the national curriculum
  • Patience and empathy when working with students

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.

Working Conditions:

This role involves working full-time hours on a contract basis, providing support in classrooms and other educational settings within the South Yorkshire region. The salary range for this position is £85 - £100 per day.
