Job Description:

Attention, HLTA superheroes! We're on the hunt for experienced and dedicated High-Level Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic supply team. As an HLTA, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting teachers, delivering high-quality lessons, and ensuring every student receives the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead small group sessions and provide targeted support to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
  • Support classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons.
  • Assist with the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing valuable insights to inform teaching strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Lead on behaviour management strategies and provide guidance to support positive student behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement intervention programs to support students with additional needs.

Requirements:

  • Qualified HLTA status or equivalent experience in a teaching support role.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and experience working with students across different age groups and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments and support a variety of teaching styles.
  • A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
