Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in Nottingham. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education to students.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in lesson planning and preparation
  • Conduct assessments and provide feedback
  • Deliver lesson plans under the guidance of the teacher
  • Manage student behaviour in the classroom
  • Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Work with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification

Skills:

  • Experience in lesson planning
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Ability to deliver lesson plans effectively
  • Proven experience in managing student behaviour
  • Experience in supporting children with SEN
  • Knowledge of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curriculum

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working in a primary school setting is desirable.

Working Conditions:

This role is part-time and will require you to work closely with teachers and students in a classroom environment. The ability to work collaboratively and adapt to the needs of the school setting is essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
