Higher Level Teaching Assistant 

Lincoln 

Monday to Friday (term time only)

Protocol Education are currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team of educators and Support Workers .

As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with teachers and other staff members to provide high-quality education to students.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver small group and whole class teaching under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Support teachers in planning, preparing, and assessing lessons.
  • Provide additional support to students with special educational needs, including individual and small group interventions.
  • Assist in the management and supervision of classroom activities and behavior.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and assessment of student progress.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Undertake administrative and other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role within a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and relevant educational policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to supporting the learning and development of all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
