Role: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £77-85 per day

Location: Sleaford

Hours: Monday-Friday (8:30am-3:30pm)

 

Have you completed studies in Health and Social Care and now looking for a full time role? Why not apply the knowledge you have gained from your studies in a classroom?

At Protocol we are looking for individuals with good knowledge on how to support vulnerable people during their daily life. We find the knowledge you have gained through your Health and Social Care course transfers well into the classroom. You will be expected to be present in the classroom and support the class teacher. You may work one-to-one or with small groups of students to support them with their work. You maybe also support students who have SEND and SEMH. This is a diverse and rewarding role for those who are passionate about supporting young people with their personal and educational development.

 

The Role:

  • Supporting students in and outside the classroom.
  • Interact with student who have SEND and SEMH conditions.
  • Provide basic subject intervention.
  • Support the production of the lesson and activities.

 

Requirements:

  • Has the right to work in the UK
  • Has or is willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Has knowledge and/or experience of SEN
  • Has positive verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Is passionate about supporting young people with their mental wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
