Protocol Education are seeking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant who will be supporting with Sports to join a thriving secondary school located in Walthamstow.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant supporting with Sports, you will be working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students providing individualised support and motivating them to reach their full potential.

You will have the opportunity to coach and lead a team in a variety of sports working alongside the PE Teacher helping to plan and deliver lessons.  and providing support to identified students and in working 1-1, in small groups.

This post is perfect for recent graduates who is considering to pursue a career in teaching and health or coaching looking to develop their existing skills.

Requirements as a Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Minimum of 2:2 degree
  • Strong literacy and numeracy abilities
  • Work with the class teacher and wider team
  • Empathetic and patient whilst dealing with children
  • Capability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills
