Protocol Education are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for long-term work in primary schools in the Borough of Barnet. You will have the opportunity to work in a range of classroom environments across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.  As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you have the flexibility to choose where you work. We take your preferences into consideration.  This is a fantastic opportunity to help you positively develop and enhance your skills as Teaching Assistant. Pay starts from £80 per day.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Have a UK undergraduate degree
  • Have experience working with young children
  • Be available for work 5 days per week
  • Assess the individual learning needs of pupils
  • Positively manage challenging behaviour
  • Liaise with parents, carers and other professionals who work with the children
  • Supervise activities
  • Work with teachers to find bespoke and individualised child centred education to help engage the children
  • Work with children in small groups and on a one to one basis
