We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to collaborate with our teachers in providing exceptional support to our students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside our teachers in classes, small groups, or on an individual basis, ensuring that our students receive the personalized attention they require. This role also offers opportunities to work one-on-one with students with autism. We welcome applications from individuals with prior experience working with secondary-age students in a learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

 

Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment

Support the academic and personal development of SEND students in classes, small groups, or individually

Attend to the physical needs of students with disabilities, providing necessary assistance and accommodations

Provide individualized support and guidance to students with autism, fostering their growth and progress

Work harmoniously with professionals, including specialist therapy providers, to ensure comprehensive care for students

Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in responding to the unique needs of students

Maintain a positive and nurturing atmosphere that encourages student engagement and well-being

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
