Graduate Teaching Assistant

Are you a recent graduate looking for a TA role in Hackney?

Protocol Education are currently working with a range of schools in Hackney who are looking for passionate TA's to help their students on a daily basis.

As part of your role, you will be working closely with children with ASD and other learning disabilities.

These roles are both long-term and short-term depending on your availability.

Location:

England, Greater London, Hackney

Salary:

£85 - £95 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assisting in the preparation of teaching materials
  • Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
  • Supervising students during class and break times
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to teaching

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good organisational skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of classroom dynamics and learning processes
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and tools

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting
  • May require occasional participation in school events or meetings outside regular hours
  • Opportunity to develop teaching skills and gain hands-on experience in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
