Responsibilities:

  • Provide valuable support to educators in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences, assisting with activities, and facilitating small group sessions.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing environment by promoting student engagement, managing behavior, and encouraging participation.
  • Support students with additional needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), by implementing individualized support plans and providing tailored assistance.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of materials, resources, and equipment, ensuring a conducive learning environment for all students.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to meet the diverse needs of students and contribute to their academic and personal growth.
  • Supervise students during scheduled activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • Genuine passion for working with students and a desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
  • Resilience, patience, and empathy, with the ability to support students facing challenges and varying needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Previous experience working with students or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to undergo relevant training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in the role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
