Graduate Teaching Assistant – Bristol – Start ASAP

A larger mainstream primary school are looking for a full time teaching assistant who is willing to work 121 with a child with additional needs. The school is where young people’s talents and abilities are nurtured and where they can develop their ambitions. 

The school is looking for enthusiastic graduates who are passionate to support students.

The opportunity:

  • Primary school in Bristol
  • Full time – Monday – Friday 8.30-15:30
  • Starting ASAP for the duration of the school year
  • £10.90 an hour pay – Term time only
  • Hands on classroom experience before teacher training

The ideal graduate needs to:

  • Hold a degree (2:2 or above)
  • Have strong subject knowledge within English Math's and Science (GCSE A* - C)
  • Self- motivated and flexible
  • Demonstrate good teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have the ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of individual students
  • Be able to deliver well-structured support sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
