We are currently seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor!

Position Overview: As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will deliver lessons that are pre-planned so there are no extra responsibilities for you. You will need good classroom management skills and a passion for educating others. Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of regular teachers.
  • Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment conducive to student success.
  • Managing classroom behavior and ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with other faculty members to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery.
  • Providing feedback on student progress and behavior to regular teachers as needed.
  • Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program or recent graduate.
  • Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behavior.
  • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work on short notice.
  • Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
