We are currently seeking a highly motivated and adaptable individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor!
Position Overview: As a cover supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering lessons in the absence of the class teacher. You will deliver lessons that are pre-planned so there are no extra responsibilities for you. You will need good classroom management skills and a passion for educating others. Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of regular teachers.
- Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment conducive to student success.
- Managing classroom behavior and ensuring adherence to school policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with other faculty members to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery.
- Providing feedback on student progress and behavior to regular teachers as needed.
- Adapting teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate program or recent graduate.
- Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and behavior.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work on short notice.
- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
