Protocol education is recruiting an individual who adapt well in new environments and are happy with daily flexible work to be cover supervisors in Special Educational Needs schools across Newcastle and north Tyneside. We are also recruiting for individuals who are aspiring teachers to be full-time general cover staff. 

General cover staff oversea the class during the absence of the teacher. They are expected to manage behaviour and ensure a positive work environment is maintained. Currently across secondary schools in Newcastle there is a high demand for daily cover.

This is the perfect opportunity for individuals who wish to begin their career in education. It will also be good experience for aspiring teachers prior to completing your teaching qualification. 

Requirements

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Has or is willing to obtain an enhanced DBS.
  • Is open to flexible & daily work but can work full time.
  • Adapts will to new environments.
  • Is confident maintaining a possible work environment.
