Job Title: French Teachers Needed Now!

Location: East of England, Essex, Southend-On-Sea

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £120 - £200 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive French language lessons to students
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language learning experience
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Experience teaching French language at the primary or secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with diverse student populations

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of the national curriculum for Modern Foreign Languages
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Education or related field
  • Additional language proficiency beyond French and English

Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
