Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced French Teachers to join our team in Southend-On-Sea, Essex. As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students, helping them develop their language skills and cultural understanding.

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students of varying levels
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the French language programme
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions

Required Qualifications:

  • Fluency in French language
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching French language and culture

Education:

Bachelor's degree in French language or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching French

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of French grammar and vocabulary
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in using technology to enhance language teaching

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary position with full-time hours. The role may require flexibility in working hours and occasional participation in extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
