Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive French lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology to make learning French enjoyable and accessible.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated to communicate in French and explore French-speaking cultures.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning goals.
  • Organize cultural activities, events, and trips to enhance students' understanding and appreciation of French culture.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in French language education.
  • Proficiency in French language (spoken and written) at a native or near-native level.
  • Passion for teaching and a deep understanding of French culture, history, and society.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Previous experience teaching French at the secondary level is advantageous but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
