Are you seeking 'play it by ear' shifts? Protocol Education are currently seeking individuals who are wanting variable work patterns. You let us know which days you are available in the week! Schools are always struck with illness and understaffing at the moment and reach out for cover on a daily basis. Your role will be to work in supply cover for these positions!
This is a perfect role for somebody who is only available part-time, for students, and for people who are wanting to select their work days! This role is also perfect for people who are hoping to gain experience in schools and/or childcare.
The Roles:
(1) TA: You will be subsituting the absence of a teaching assistant. You may be expected to provide 1:1 or group support, and aid in the daily activities of the classroom. This could include working with children with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
(2) Cover Supervisor: This role you will be acting as supervision in the absence of a teacher. You will not be required to teach, however, you will be expected to manage behaviour, ensure students are on task, and aid in any questions which may be asked. You are primarily supervising the classroom.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience working with children with SEND.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A passion for education and creating an environment in which the students can improve their studies.
- The ability to use your creative nature to engage students, improve confidence, and positively influence a fun and supportive learning process.
- You do not need any prior experience, however, the above are preferable. We mainly seek the right character.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
