Company Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time EYFS Educator to join a vibrant educational community in Nottingham, starting in September 2024. This position is initially temporary, for one academic year. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers.

Please note that while this role pertains to an Early Years class initially, there may be opportunities for staff to transition to different year groups in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and delivering engaging lessons that foster student progress and inspiration.
  • Cultivating positive relationships with students and Teaching Assistants to nurture conducive learning environments.
  • Effectively managing behavioral challenges with positivity and consistency.
  • Tailoring lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
  • Utilizing various assessment methods to track student progress.
  • Demonstrating enthusiasm, energy, and positivity in interactions with children.
  • Collaborating closely with Teaching Assistants to ensure optimal educational experiences for students.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PGCE, QTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching in Early Years settings

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective classroom management
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Innovative teaching techniques

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training in Early Years education

Working Conditions:

  • This role entails working within a school environment, following the academic calendar. Full-time hours are expected.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
