Company Branding: For September 2024, we are looking for a Full-Time Class Teacher in Early Years to join a successful team of passionate educators in a Nottingham school. This post is temporary, for one year in the first instance. Newly qualified, recently qualified and more experienced teachers are welcome to apply.

Please note that whilst this post is for an Early Years Class Teacher role in the first instance, it may be that staff are required to move to a different year group across school in the future.

Job Duties:

  • Planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allow all pupils to make progress.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
  • Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
  • Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and learning styles of all pupils.
  • Using varied methods of assessment to assess pupil progress.
  • Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
  • Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience.

Required Qualifications:

PGCE, QTS

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Experience teaching in Early Years settings

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Creative teaching methods

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in Early Years education

Working Conditions:

This role will involve working in a school setting, following the academic calendar. Full-time hours are expected.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
