Protocol Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant, across Newcastle.

Are you wanting to jump into a new and exciting adventure but don’t have any previous experience? If so, this is your opportunity! We accept candidate from all professional backgrounds, including graduates. All you need is to be passionate about helping children and believe they should get equal rights, including children with Autism and other special needs.

You will be working on a 1-2-1 basis or working closely with students who need extra support with their academic development.

The role:

  • Support the teaching in the classroom with activities.
  • Support students with their academic development.
  • Work one-to-one with students who have forms of SEND.

The requirements:

  • Has the right to work in the UK
  • Has or is willing to apply for an enhanced DBS
  • Is passionate about a career in education.
  • Has positive verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Please note this is a full time role
