We are looking to appoint Teaching Assistants for daily cover and long-term positions in our primary provsions. We are looking for staff who have a real passion for wanting to make a difference to children's education, enthusiasm and the ability to engage young learners. If you have worked in residential care homes, youth work, nursing, Out of school clubs, with elderly in care homes then your skills are transferable to these roles. 

This could be a great oppertunity for you to explore a variety of Primary Schools/Settings as well as allowing you to work acros the primary phase to see which key stage is your preffered for a potential long term placement. 

Within the role you will be required to:

Support and enthuse young learners to reach their potential

Be interactive and engaging Work with small guided groups for reading, writing and other subjects

Feedback to the class teacher on progress made and next steps

Skills and attributes:

Cache Level 2 or 3 or equivalent or experience working within a setting advantageous but not essential

Have empathy, patience and the drive to make a difference

An observant and responsive approach

A positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
