Protocol Education are currently looking to employ an enthusiastic and confident English Teacher to join a thriving private secondary school, in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English education and have a genuine passion for the subject. The school is a very high achieving one and they are looking for a great teacher/role model for their students who will enthuse them about Englishand aim to provide an outstanding educational experience.
Your role will include being responsible for planning and delivering inspirational English lessons that engage all students in their learning, managing behaviour in the classroom and around the school, marking students work and communicating with parents/carers about their child’s progress. You will also be responsible for ensuring that children studying English are appropriately challenged, supported and achieve their expected levels of progress or better.
The school are looking for someone to start asap and work through to the summer. Ideally you would work Tuesday to Friday but there may be some fexibillity in this regard.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Experience in teaching English
- A degree in the relevant subject
- Ability to create exciting/engaging lessons
- Patience, self-motivation & resilience
- A passion for English, for children’s education and shaping their future
You will be required to provide a minimum of two references (covering min. of 2 years employment) and will have the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
