Job Description: Protocol Education are working with a secondary school in Nottingham who are lookiing to appoint an English Teacher and contribute to their nurturing and supportive environment where every staff member plays a vital role in our students' experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach allocated classes, ensuring learning opportunities for all students
  • Plan and execute engaging lessons to maintain student interest and challenge them appropriately
  • Monitor student progress and intervene with strategies for improvement as needed
  • Assess and report on student progress and attainment

Required Qualifications:

  • PGCE
  • QTS
  • Bachelor's degree in English or related field

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities
  • Ability to foster creativity and engagement in the classroom

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in Special Education or EAL

Working Conditions: This role entails working full-time within a secondary school environment, participating in staff meetings and other school-related activities as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
