Job Description: Protocol Education are working with a secondary school in Nottingham who are lookiing to appoint an English Teacher and contribute to their nurturing and supportive environment where every staff member plays a vital role in our students' experience.
Responsibilities:
- Teach allocated classes, ensuring learning opportunities for all students
- Plan and execute engaging lessons to maintain student interest and challenge them appropriately
- Monitor student progress and intervene with strategies for improvement as needed
- Assess and report on student progress and attainment
Required Qualifications:
- PGCE
- QTS
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field
Experience:
- Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong classroom and behaviour management abilities
- Ability to foster creativity and engagement in the classroom
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications in Special Education or EAL
Working Conditions: This role entails working full-time within a secondary school environment, participating in staff meetings and other school-related activities as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
