Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students.
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning.
  • Create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Degree in English or related field.

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching English to students.
  • Experience working in a school setting is desirable.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the English language and literature.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Organisational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Experience with exam preparation and assessment.

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily in a classroom setting.
  • Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events.
  • Interaction with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
